SimpleFix : Our Story

Ray Staiger Limited (RSL) dispatches strapping systems, fastenings, brackets, and toggle anchoring systems to merchants throughout NZ. We offer clients a combined experience of 60 years in the Construction Industry and are able to provide technical advice and alternatives to costly construction problems in the areas of supports and fastenings. From 1993 with humble beginnings in the family garage, the business was originally based on Ray’s simple, yet ingenious invention: the SimpleFix strap. The SimpleFix strap is a multi fit and multi applicable metal strapping solution to hang a range of pipes.  This well established New Zealand family owned and operated business has grown to incorporate a complete range of SimpleFix pipe and building strapping, Brandz appraised hot water cylinder restraints kits, pipe brackets, fastenings, adhesives and much more. Having outgrown our office and warehouse space on Avalon Drive, in November 2010, RSL moved into a 1,150 m2 purpose built warehouse in Te Rapa, Hamilton. The investment in relocating RSL’s operation has enabled the company to build upon its established product range by importing and storing larger quantities of product to further efficiently service the needs of our customer base. With the appointment of the Australasian distributorship of American-made Toggler (high quality wall and ceiling fasteners), Pryda (timber connecting systems manufacturer), and other world leading brands, RSL provides customers with a support solution for almost every application. RSL provides nationwide distribution through local merchants and can dispatch our “off the shelf” stock items overnight, anywhere throughout New Zealand. What makes us different from other distributors in the industry is our product range and knowledge. Our ability to service customer needs from point of enquiry to delivery is outstanding, which makes us a leading competitor in our industry.
